The event was jointly hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology (KIAT), and the Korea Institute for Materials, Parts and Equipment Investment Institutions (KITIA). It brought together eight consortia selected from 28 companies in the first phase (business model planning) of the 2026 Scale-up Technology Commercialization Program, along with eight venture capital investment managers, for a total of about 30 participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CEO Yeontaek Lee presented on behalf of Lynk Solutec, outlining the company&#8217;s progress in developing surface coating solutions for medical devices and its commercialization results to date. Following the presentation, the company held one-on-one investment consultations with eight domestic venture capital firms, including Boditech Ventures and Wonik Investment Partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event concluded with a business model planning roundtable for companies and their affiliated research organizations participating in the Scale-up program. Lynk Solutec, in a consortium with FNP Partners, is carrying out a project titled &#8220;Development of Innovative Medical Devices Applying Anti-Biofouling Coating (Lynk Coating),&#8221; and discussed collaboration progress and future support needs at the session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;This was an opportunity to explain our validated coating technology directly to investors, based on results we&#8217;ve built in the medical device sector,&#8221; said Yeontaek Lee, CEO of Lynk Solutec. &#8220;We plan to continue these investment discussions, including our direction toward expanding into industrial coating applications.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company plans to continue follow-up discussions with the domestic venture capital firms it met through the investment consultation sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">About Lynk Solutec<br>Lynk Solutec (lynksolutec.com) is a South Korean medical device company specializing in ophthalmic and urological surgical products.
